Cecilia Xinyu Zhang works within the field of furniture, spatial design and visual art. She graduated from Högskolan för design och konsthantverk in Sweden with a master degree in design. Grew up in Beijing and currently based in Bergen, Norway, she benefits from what culture difference brings her and thus translate it into design experience.
After graduating from Bergen Academy of Art and Design (2015) with a masters degree in design, Magnus is now running his own practice: Kontor Nyquist. Within the field of identity and editorial design, Magnus strives to develop strong, concept based, contextually aware solutions - both for the physical and digital space.
Ingrid Rundberg is a Swedish designer working in the field of visual communication, who graduated from Bergen Academy of Art and Design in the spring of 2016. Rundberg runs an independent publishing house focusing on small press publishing, with a great interest in tactility and three-dimensional work. Beside this she is active in Grafill Bergen, Bergen Zines and Bergen Art Book Fair. Since 2015 she has been responsible for the risograph workshop at Bergen Academy of Art and Design, and is currently working part-time as a research assistant at the same institution.
Stine Aas works within the field of furniture and spatial design. She completed her Master´s degree from Bergen Academy of Art and Design in 2015 and with her master project “in touch” she earned the title “Newcomer of the Year” at Bergen Design Week (RAFF).
Through her playful design, Stine hopes to create long lasting relationships between her products and their users.
Philipp von Hase is a wood-oriented furniture designer and maker based in Bergen. He is an apprenticed furniture maker from Germany and holds a Master degree in furniture and space design from the the Academy of Arts and Design i Bergen. His works often result in a discussion between the physical, psychological and conceptual form. He has for example designed the 'Trialog' chair which is a chair for reverse sitting and active communication. Most of his works are rather sculptural but yet multi functional objects, designed for small scale production. Philipp has exhibited his furniture collections in London, Stockholm, Milan, Paris and Seoul.
In the near future Philipp wants to develop a series of transformable furnitures and objects.
Bjørn Are Evjen combines his passion for music with his work within the field of visual communication. He graduated from Bergen Academy of Art and Design in 2016 with a master degree in design. He specializes in the aesthetics and expressions related to Rock & Roll subculture, and works mainly with analogue graphic design and motion graphics. Besides his design activity Bjørn Are Evjen is a musician, dj, and CEO of Mojo Workout, a local association working to develop a vital and creative scene for Rock & Roll related art and music in Bergen.
